TUYA

The original people of Brazil had their own astronomy. They created constellations surrounded by myths, moral codes and stories.
Tuya, in Tupi-Guarani, means "old man". The Guarani legend tells of a man married to a woman much younger than him. His wife desired her husband's younger brother and ended up killing her husband by cutting off his leg. The gods, out of pity, transformed him into this constellation.
TUYA takes its name in honor of the cultural richness of the indigenous people.

The TUYA has two stages, one for compression and one for overdrive. Compression acts on the amplitude of the signal, amplifying small signals and attenuating very high inputs. It has ATTACK control, where it is possible to define the compressor's response speed and SUSTAIN control to regulate the small signals. The overdrive stage has gain control and tone adjustment to filter bass or treble as desired. Fully analog, it allows the creation of rich sounds and unique timbres.
